The Michigan Daily Web Team creates and manages all of The Michigan Daily's online products. We're a team of approximately 15 students from diverse backgrounds. We create web apps, mobile apps, special web pages, data interactives, and more. Our products impact thousands of Michigan students each day! If you want to see your work have an impact on students, gain experience with Computer Science outside the classroom, and want to have fun, we'd love to have you!
Note: both positions have equal importance on the team, and are used primarily for team formation. Don't be discouraged if you don't meet all the requirements, we are flexible and are looking for dedicated people!
If you are new to the world of web development and are interested in building cool stuff, then this role is for you. Requirements: Interest in web technologies, basic CS experience, passion for learning on the fly.
Closes Thursday, January 18th at 11:59pmThis position is intended for new members who already have significant experience in Computer Science. Generally, SEs have already completed at least EECS 280 and have experience with web technologies. Usually SEs have completed/worked on 1+ web or mobile projects in the past. Requirements: Demonstrated knowledge of CS, 1+ web projects.
